A Pre-Boarding Notification (PBN) is a digital notification used in Ireland to streamline the customs process for vehicles transporting goods between Ireland and Great Britain.  It consolidates all customs declarations related to a particular vehicle into a single reference, which must be submitted before the vehicle arrives at the port.  The PBN ensures that customs authorities have the necessary information in advance, allowing for smoother and faster clearance at the border.

Export Accompanying Document (EAD)

Serves as proof that goods have been declared to customs and are allowed to leave the EU. It accompanies the goods to their destination. You or your representative are required to submit an export declaration and obtain customs clearance before the goods can exit the UK.

This involves the submission of necessary documentation, such as import declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin, to the customs authorities
